Daily composite maps showing sea surface temperature (SST) isolines labelled every 0.5 DegC on top of the surface chlorophyll-a (CHLL) concentration field in mg/m3. Both parameters are derived from daily satellite data on the COPERNICUS Marine Service at 0.01 degree resolution. CHLL is a multi-sensor, multi water-tyoe, interpolated gap-free product taken at noon of each day D; the SST are nighttime observations made by infrared sensors mounted on different satellite platforms and areĀ  centred at midnight between days D-1 and D.
